100,000 balloons were launched in a spectacular display at 4 different locations in England, Scotland and Wales to raise funds for Woolworth’s in-house charity Kids First. All 750+ Woolworth's stores were involved in the event by selling balloon tags to members of the public and each area recruited 50 volunteers to blow up 25,000 balloons per location! The balloon tags came flooding back from locations far and wide, the furthest being from a small village in Norway! The event was a huge success and vital funds were raised from the event for Woolworth’s Kids First!
